Gracie was born with a rare metabolic disorder that caused her to need a liver transplant, she has also had & has several other medical issues that has caused multiple hospital stays, doctor visits, tests & labs on an ongoing basis. She was granted a wish to Disney very recently, in which we left on May 26, 08. 

Her wish started with volunteers from Make A Wish coming to our home for a going away party for Gracie complete with food, cake & balloons.

 

The trip was great…a trip of a lifetime! We wouldn’t trade a million dollars for Gracie’s many smiles while there. She was made to feel like a queen. We went to Disney World, Universal Studios, Animal Kingdom, Sea World and stayed at an awesome place called Give Kids The World. For a whole week we put aside medical issues, doctor visits and being poked & proded and made this an enjoyable, memorable time for Gracie.

 

We took many pictures, and although Gracie is delayed, when she looks at these pictures she smiles every single time because she remembers all the fun that was made possible by the Make A Wish foundation!
