You’d have to search long and hard to find a bigger Jeff Gordon fan than Steven. In fact, anywhere you look in Steven’s room there’s something related to Jeff Gordon. It seemed only natural, therefore, for Steven’s wish to be a meeting with his idol.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation^® went about making this young boy’s life-long wish come true. A trip was planned to Pennsylvania where Jeff was racing. Tickets were purchased for Steve’s family to fly with him and enjoy this very special time with their brother and son. They had a ball at the races-Steven got to see paratroopers descending onto the track, got to tour the area where the transporter trucks were parked, got to spend time with Jeff Gordon – it was a trip of a lifetime for this young boy. But the surprises didn’t end there. A few months after Steven returned home from his trip, he received a call from the Make-A-Wish Foundation saying that Jeff Gordon wanted to put Stevens picture on his trailer and would it be okay with him! It was more than okay with Steven-it was a perfect way to remember his meeting with Jeff and a heartfelt wish that came true.
