On Tuesday, November 17, the Chi Omega Fraternity will host its third annual Chili Cook-off to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee. Local restaurants and organizations will compete for the title of "Best Chili in Chattanooga," and proceeds from the event will go towards granting a wish to upcoming UTC freshman, Mckeehanon, whose wish is to attend the British Open.
Location: The event will be held on the grassy area at Fourth and Mabel Streets beside McKenzie Arena on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) campus prior to the UTC versus ETSU men’s basketball game.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of East Tennessee is celebrating the Season of Wishes with Roger and Mary Forbes of Elizabethton, who have put together a dynamic Christmas animated light show to benefit the foundation and its many "wish kids" who are waiting for their one special dream to come true. From Saturday, November 28th through Christmas, December 26th, the Forbes will be presenting their animated light show, open to the public, from 6pm-10pm Sunday through Thursday and 6pm-11pm on Friday and Saturdays.
Location: The display of 125,000 lights will be located on the 700 block of Holston Avenue in Elizabethton. Viewers will turn their car radios to 106.7 FM to hear the music accompanying the light display.
