Bruster’s Ice Cream in East Brainerd helps to grant the wish of a local child

The employees (mostly high school and college kids) gave up their tips for 4 months, collected donations at the window and held an ice cream eating contest to raise the money. “I am very proud of our employees for embracing this idea and sacrificing their own tips to grant the wish of Peyton, said Renee Jones of Bruster’s Ice Cream. “We were able to meet Peyton and hear about his wish and we worked hard to make his wish come true.” Read More

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of East Tennessee celebrates a sweet day with Betty Crocker® and the Stirring Up Wishes™ campaign.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee was one of twelve Make-A-Wish chapters to receive a $7,000 grant from Betty Crocker to grant a wish. This was made possible through thousands of votes from Make-A-Wish foundation of East Tennessee supporters. Supporters were asked to vote at stirringupwishes.com for their local chapter and the East Tennessee Chapter was one of the top four chapters in their category. Read More
